AuBEX was founded in 1892 as the first hat manufacturing company in Japan.
One of our founders was Eiichi Shibusawa. By applying and enhancing processing technologies developed through many years of manufacturing hats, we entered the nib business and further expanded the applications of our technologies to the medical equipment manufacturing business.
I believe the wisdom, effort, and enthusiasm for manufacturing of our predecessors, including Eiichi Shibusawa, have enabled us to stay in business for more than 120 years. Looking back, it is clear that AuBEX successfully passed on the technologies it accumulated over the years and adapted them in response to the changing times. As a result, we have been able to meet the needs of our customers both in Japan and overseas, and earn their widespread support. Driven by our sustained enthusiasm for manufacturing, we will continue to evolve with a view to creating future lifestyles.
